About Us
A consultation usually lasts 30-40 minutes in which we address your major foot concerns. It helps us to treat you more effectively if you bring in any footwear or scans (eg Xray) that you feel may relate to your foot concerns.

Our Podiatrist
M’lane Field is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association(NSW) and is registered with AHPRA.
She has practised in all aspects of Podiatry in Sydney’s Inner West for the last 35 years. M’lane is a caring and experienced professional that takes great pride in delivering the highest quality care for her patients. As owner of Balmain Podiatry she feels it is a great privilege to service the Balmain/Rozelle and wider community.
M’lane is available for consultation Monday to Friday.
M’lane keeps up with the latest developments in the practise of Podiatry and is committed to ongoing professional development. She is a Registered Providers for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Medicare GP Chronic Care Management Plan (GP CCMP).

Claiming with your Health Fund
We use HICAPS to help you claim your rebate from your private health fund on the spot. As this rebate varies widely between funds we suggest you call your fund directly to find out what your podiatric entitlements are.
GP Chronic Care Management Plan or Individual Allied Health Service referral (previously EPC referral)
If your doctor has provided you with an Enhanced Primary Care Plan Referral (EPC) then we can help you claim your rebate with Medicare. This referral is at the discretion of your GP and is for the ongoing health care of chronic conditions for eligible patients.
Sterilisation Procedures
We take sterilisation and cleanliness in our practice very seriously. All podiatric instruments are cleaned and autoclave sterilised as required by the NSW Podiatry Registration Board Standards: AS/ NZS 4187; AS/ NZS 4815.
